As a curly girl I am so disappointed. The lowest heat setting is actually really hot and makes diffusing impossible without burning your scalp. It's fine for normal drying but you have to use no heat at all when using the diffuser which takes longer than my old hair dryer to style and will be unpleasantly cold in winter.

What is the Moyoko ARIA E9?
The ARIA E9 is Moyoko's high-speed smart hair dryer and the step up from the Moyoko E8 2400W. A UNOSTROKE® high-speed motor drives concentrated airflow, Smart HeatTech™ manages the heat so hair is exposed to less of it, and negative ions smooth the cuticle for a glossier, less frizzy finish. Moyoko sums it up as less damage, less noise and more gloss. This is the black edition; it is also available in pink.

Is the Moyoko ARIA E9 good for diffusing curly hair?
It dries curls well, but if you mainly diffuse, be aware that one of our curly-haired customers found even the lowest heat setting too warm against the scalp when diffusing, so she diffused on cool air. How to use
Towel-dry hair and apply a heat protectant. Dry in sections, pointing the airflow down the hair shaft. Use lower heat for fine or fragile hair, and finish on cool to seal in shine.
