Kérastase Nutritive Bain Magistral is a fundamental nutrition shampoo for severely dry, thick hair. Part of the Kérastase Nutritive range. Daily-use cleanser that gently removes impurities while restoring nourishment from the inside of the fibre.

Best for: severely dry, thick, coarse or rough hair; hair that feels stripped after standard shampoos; the cleansing step in a deep-nourishment Kérastase Nutritive routine paired with Fondant Magistral or Masque Magistral.
Less suited to: fine to medium hair (use Bain Satin instead); medium-to-thick dry hair that needs lighter cleansing (use Bain Satin Riche); oily scalps (Kérastase Spécifique or Symbiose ranges); hair primarily damaged by chemical processing (see Kérastase Resistance — Bain Force Architecte).

Key actives:
- Irisome Complex 4600PPM — high-concentration glucoactive complex with iris extract; deposits onto the hair fibre to nourish from within
- Benzoin (Benjoin) Resin — recreates internal nourishment and supports long-lasting hydration
- Gentle cleansing base — removes product build-up and impurities without stripping moisture
- Glycerin — humectant that helps the cuticle retain water

How to use: Apply to wet hair and scalp. Massage gently to emulsify, then rinse. Repeat with a second application — the first pass removes build-up, the second delivers full nourishment. Follow with Fondant Magistral as a daily conditioner or Masque Magistral as a weekly intensive treatment.
