IntrinsiCurly Me was founded by Simonne Solarsh, a curly girl who set out to change the narrative for South Africans with curly hair. After being told as a teenager that curly hair was simply dry and dull, she refused to accept it — and by 2016 had created a local, expert-formulated range built around the Curly Girl Method.
