Pureology Strength Cure Blonde

Pureology Strength Cure Blonde is a dual-action purple toning and bond repair system for colour-treated blonde, highlighted, and lightened hair. The range combines violet pigments to neutralise yellow and brassy tones with Astressin-B and Camelina Oil to repair the bond damage that lightening services cause. ZeroSulfate® and 100% vegan, like all Pureology formulas.

Strength Cure Blonde Shampoo: Sulphate-free purple shampoo that tones blonde whilst gently cleansing. Use 2–3 times per week.

Strength Cure Blonde Conditioner: Repairs and conditions whilst maintaining toning effect. Used after the shampoo at every blonde wash.

Strength Cure Blonde Mask: Weekly intensive mask delivering deep conditioning alongside concentrated violet pigment. Replace conditioner once a week for stronger toning.

Apply Strength Cure Blonde Shampoo to wet hair, leave for 2–5 minutes for stronger toning (or rinse immediately for subtle toning), then follow with Conditioner. Replace conditioner with the Mask weekly for maximum repair and toning. Alternate with Pureology Hydrate Shampoo on days when toning isn't needed to maintain moisture balance.

How often should I use Pureology Strength Cure Blonde Shampoo?

2–3 times per week as a toning shampoo. Daily use can cause a slight violet tint on very porous hair. Alternate with Pureology Hydrate or another sulphate-free shampoo on non-toning days.

Is Strength Cure Blonde safe for very damaged bleached hair?

Yes — Strength Cure Blonde combines bond repair (Astressin-B) with toning, making it ideal for severely lightened or bleached hair that needs both repair and brassiness control.

Can I use Strength Cure Blonde on grey or silver hair?

Yes — the violet pigments neutralise yellow tones in grey and silver hair just as effectively as on blonde. Use 1–2 times per week for ongoing toning maintenance.
