Pureology Pure Volume is the brand's dedicated volumising range — formulated for fine, flat, colour-treated hair that needs lift and body without compromise. The lightweight ZeroSulfate® formula and AntiFade Complex® lift roots and add fullness whilst protecting colour and avoiding the weight that traditional moisturising formulas can leave on fine hair.

Pure Volume Shampoo: Weightless sulphate-free cleanser that adds lift at the root and body through the lengths. Suitable for daily use on fine, colour-treated hair.

Pure Volume Conditioner: Lightweight conditioner that detangles and conditions without weighing fine hair down. Use on mid-lengths and ends only, never the roots.

Pure Volume Mask: Weekly volumising mask for fine hair that needs both moisture and body. Replace conditioner once a week.

Pure Volume Lift-Off Foaming Treatment: Leave-in volumising foam applied to damp roots before blow-drying for maximum lift.

Apply conditioner only to mid-lengths and ends — never the roots, which would flatten fine hair. Blow-dry upside down with a round brush at the roots for maximum lift. For extra volume, apply Pure Volume Lift-Off Foam to damp roots before blow-drying. Finish with a light hold spray rather than gels or creams that would weigh fine hair down.

Is Pure Volume strong enough for very fine, oily hair?

Yes — the ZeroSulfate® formula cleanses thoroughly without stripping. Pair with Pureology Refresh & Go dry shampoo between washes to extend volume on fine, oil-prone hair.

Can Pure Volume help with thinning hair?

Pure Volume creates the appearance of fuller hair but isn't a thinning hair treatment. For active hair loss, see Pureology Nanoworks (anti-aging) or Nioxin systems for targeted thinning care.

Pure Volume vs Joico JoiFULL — which is better for fine hair?

Both are excellent. Pure Volume is sulphate-free and colour-safe, ideal for colour-treated fine hair. JoiFULL has slightly stronger volumising action and lower price point. For non-colour-treated fine hair, either works well.
