Kerastase Densifique

Kérastase Densifique was developed for hair that has lost density over time — hair that appears thinner, flatter, or less voluminous than it once was, or hair that has always been fine and lacks the fullness the wearer wants. The range works on two levels: directly thickening each individual hair fibre to make it visibly fuller, and improving scalp condition to support healthy, dense hair growth over time.

The hero technology across the Densifique range is Stemoxydine — a molecule developed through Kérastase's research partnership with L'Oréal's advanced hair biology laboratories. Stemoxydine has been clinically shown to stimulate hair fibre production and improve hair density with consistent use. The range also features Hyaluronic Acid to plump and hydrate the scalp, and Bio-Mimetic Ceramide to strengthen and thicken individual fibres.

Bain Densité Shampoo: The everyday Densifique shampoo. A bodifying formula that cleanses while depositing thickening agents to increase the diameter and weight of each hair fibre. Leaves hair noticeably fuller and more voluminous from the first wash — suitable for fine, thin, or limp hair of all types.

Fondant Densité Conditioner: A lightweight bodifying conditioner that adds density and movement without weight. Detangles while depositing Stemoxydine and ceramide to thicken the fibre — suitable for fine or thin hair that needs conditioning without being weighed down.

Masque Densité Hair Mask: The intensive weekly Densifique treatment. A concentrated densifying mask that significantly thickens and volumises fine or thinning hair — use once weekly in place of conditioner for maximum density results.

Densifique Homme Hair Density Programme: A daily scalp treatment for men experiencing thinning or loss of hair density. Applied directly to the scalp — delivers Stemoxydine to stimulate hair fibre production and improve density over a 90-day programme. Clinical results show an average increase in hair density of 1,700 additional hairs.

Densifique Femme Hair Density Programme: A daily scalp serum for women experiencing thinning or loss of hair density. Applied directly to the scalp and left in — delivers Stemoxydine to improve density over a structured programme. Mousse Densimorphose: A styling mousse that provides immediate volume and density from the roots. Applied to damp hair before blow-drying — lifts roots, adds body, and maintains volume throughout the day. The most immediate-acting product in the Densifique range for instant fullness.

Use Bain Densité at every wash and Fondant Densité after every shampoo. Apply Masque Densité weekly in place of conditioner for intensive densifying treatment. For the Densifique programme (Homme or Femme), apply the serum daily to a clean, dry scalp and massage in — do not rinse. Use consistently for 90 days for measurable density improvement. For immediate volume, apply Mousse Densimorphose to damp roots before blow-drying and lift at the roots with a round brush or diffuser.

Densifique is Kérastase's dedicated density range — it addresses both the immediate appearance of fullness (through fibre thickening and volumising formulas) and the long-term density of hair growth (through Stemoxydine scalp treatments). What is the difference between Densifique and Genesis for thinning hair? Genesis targets hair fall due to breakage — hair that is snapping and falling because the fibre is weak. Densifique targets density — hair that has fewer hairs overall or fibres that have become thinner over time. If you are losing hair at the root (hairs falling with a bulb attached), Densifique's scalp programme addresses density. If hairs are breaking without a root bulb, Genesis is the appropriate range. Both concerns can coexist and both ranges can be used simultaneously.
